Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009 and, after garnering some notoriety through their forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. The channel also hosts two podcasts on her channel that both cover the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing community. She's appeared in countless Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. The actress was member in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker, and she would be seen on numerous episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
