The actress was featured in two episodes on Showtime's Weeds, starring Mary Louise Parker. Her appearances include Judy Kramer as a Fox 2005 show Point Pleasant, and Marcy as a character in Dawson's Creek. As a character on the Guiding Light soap opera, Dollar appeared as Marina Cooper. This role earned her an award nomination by Soap Opera Digest in 2003 as Outstanding newcomer. Dollar was Cindy Thomas, the ABC television series Women's Murder Club's star between 2007 and 2008.
